Home Refurbishment Project Management

My expertise is managing home refurbishments all over London and the home counties.  By employing my services we will endeavour to ensure your project is quality managed, run on budget and programme whilst removing the daily issues and stresses that arise from running a refurbishment project.  Remember I’ve run my own building contractors so I know how contractors operate so it’s a lot easier for me to manage the relationship with your key contractor because it’s also about how you manage the contractor to get the best out of them.

The earlier I am involved the better and most of my clients appoint me at the very beginning of their project with a brief for design, implementation and project management. I will manage your refurbishment project to include briefing the architect/interior designer and structural surveyor (to develop and submit planning applications, construction specifications and build notifications); providing lighting, electrics, plumbing, kitchen and bathrooms layouts.

We work with a number of suppliers enabling us to source finishes such as sanitary ware, kitchens, floor finishes etc at competitive trade discounts; creating a very detailed specification of your refurbishmentrequirements – (note we can also set up trade accounts with any supplier you wish); tendering for quotes for the building work; drawing up JCT contracts with the chosen building contractor; and managing the project through to completion ensuring that the build is completed on time, on budget and to a high quality finish – note it is imperative that the contractor valuations and programme are managed closely to ensure you are always one step ahead and ultimately in control of the project.


Of course you can appoint me at any stage of the above and on occasions clients bring me in to work with an existing contractor to help move the project forward.
